Silliness On A Saturday

Today's the day!

Going to BlogHer Boston

Ahhhhhhh!

I will post about it later this week (profusely no doubt), but for today, how about a little bit of silliness?

Erin at Every Heart Crafts, has tagged me for a meme!

Erin, BTW, makes the most amazing leaves I have ever seen. And I live in New England, so I know leaves!

So if you're new here, welcome! And if you're new here from BlogHer Boston, and you're looking for the crazy chick who clubbed you with her laptop and ran away with your fabulous shoes...

Um, that was the other Oh2122.

Seven Random Things About Me

1. Though I joke about being outnumbered by Hubby and Monkey, the irony is that my Dad had a house stuffed with a wife, three daughters, two female cats, and one lonely male dog. Such a life has endowed him with the ability to purchase girl things in bulk, and actually get the right ones! Apparently Karma had had enough of my teasing him and decided to line me up for a future filled with lizards and robots. Nice.

2. I once sang the National Anthem at Fenway Park. No, not in the stands. On the field, jumbotron and all. My high school's show choir was tapped for the honor my senior year. It was just as fabulous as you imagine it would be. GO SOX!

3. Hubby and I were once discussing shoes and he said that the average woman has 30 pairs of shoes. I disagreed and said I thought I had something more like 23. He laughed at me, so I set about counting my shoes. I stopped at 30 because plausible deniability is better than nothing. In my defense, though, the vast majority of them are from Target and Payless, and the most I have ever paid was 39.99. And those are my red patent high heeled Mary Janes! $39.99 was a bargain! Besides, do the flip-flops really count if they're multiple colors of two styles?

4. I like scrambled eggs on toast with Nutella. No, I'm not kidding. It's a lingering byproduct of a student exchange trip to Germany when I was in high school.

5. I have a boatload of first cousins on my Dad's side who range in age from 40 to 5. Of those cousins, we are overwhelmingly female. There was an 18 year gap between boys. Weird, right?

6. When I was little, (ok, still do...) I would arrange my crayons in color order. Especially the really big box of 90+ colors. Then when I noticed one of the colors was not getting used as much as the others, I would feel bad and try to use it more. Poor Burnt Sienna. It's not your fault everyone likes Blue better!

7. At the time of this auto post I am 30 years, 5 months, and 9 minutes old.

Told you it would be random.

Have a great Saturday!
