Ok, to be fair there are words, but seeing as how we're now at 72 hours and counting, have been told multiple power restorations times (all different), Monkey is sick, and while our house is blessedly intact we have had to retreat to the real 02122 so we won't freeze to death...
Let's just say those words are all bad words.
Really bad words.
Shout outs to all the New England bloggy peeps. Stay safe and stay warm.

Oh wow! I didn't realize it was that bad outside of Boston, I was all confused when I saw a news headline that there was a state of emergency in MA - huh? what? what emergency? everything is fine here, what are you people talking about? Now I know what emergency.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to go home soon!
Glad to hear you hvae power! Stay off teh roads and stay safe. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing better and get your power at your house back soon! We live on the North Shore. Fortunately, we did not get hit bad by the ice storm. But we have many friends and family who are still without power as well. Best wishes to you and yours! Let us know when you do get back home.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, sounds grim :-( Hope you stay warm and well, and are back home soon.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes.
Holy mackerel! Keep warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteWow. I had no idea that Boston was dealing with this. Of course if I turned on the news, I might keep up with things better. Or read the paper...
ReplyDeleteAnyway...we had something similar about 8 years ago. We lost power for 3 days - Katie was 3 at the time - and sick. There were downed trees all over the place - and the pine trees here just cannot handle the weight of all that ice.
The malls had power...so we did a lot of hanging out there!
